Versant Power crews are working to restore power to approximately 1,180 customers in Orrington. The outage was caused by a tree on a line.
Crews will remain in the field making repairs safely and as quickly as possible until all customers are restored.
Customers are reminded to stay clear of downed lines or trees in contact with them. You can't tell if a line is energized just by looking at it.
