Special Services for your Needs

Versant Power recognizes our responsibility to provide special services to customers with special needs. As a result, we offer the following programs:

TTY, Voice Carry-Over (VCO) or Hearing Carry-Over (HCO)

Versant Power utilizes Maine Relay services which is a statewide service that connects telephone users with individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing, late-deafened or have a speech disability.  This service is for you to use specialized equipment to communicate with a specially trained Relay Operator (RO).  Please ask the RO to contact Versant Power at (207) 973-2000 or 1-855-363-7211 to be in contact with one of our Customer Service Representatives who will assist you.

Maine Relay services are available 24 hours a day, every day, 365 days a year, just like we are.

Please Note: 711 is not an emergency number and should not be confused with 911. However, if you use a TTY and cannot obtain emergency services on 911, you may call 711 and tell the relay operator you have an emergency situation. The operator will then relay your emergency to the appropriate authorities.

Radio Watch
Because Versant Power vehicles are radio-equipped, our employees will report emergencies and suspicious events to the appropriate authorities.
